Pakistani terrorist Muhammad Naveed, captured last month during an attack on a BSF convoy in Udhampur, has asked a special court in Jammu to help him speak to his parents across the border — this, officials say, is another admission that he was sent from Pakistan to strike terror in Jammu & Kashmir.

“Judge Sahib, they repeatedly come to my mind… I have not spoken to them since long. Please help me speak to them on phone. I have already given their number to them (NIA),’’ Naveed was quoted as having said.

He and his two alleged local contacts, Showkat and Khursheed, were produced Thursday before special judge Y P Kotwal who remanded them in judicial custody for 14 days.
