Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation has circulated an advertisement to fill 616 posts of Traffic Controller, Asst Traffic Inspector, Jr. Assistant, Store Keeper and many more posts. The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation was formed in the year of 1960 on May 01. It is a state government owned corporation for passenger transport that provides bus services both within state of Gujarat, India and neighboring states. It was most famously known as “Gujarat ST”. The Headquarter of this organization was located at Central ST Workshop, Naroda, and Ahmedabad. This organization works with the help of more than 50,000 workforces. At present, it has 16 Divisions, 130 Depots, 230 bus stations, 1560 pickup stands and 8,000 pulse buses. Corporation provides many facilities to their passengers such as online & mobile phone ticket booking services, Wi-Fi internet services in Volvo buses for free.
GSRTC Recruitment 2016 Age Limitation & Educational Qualification
The age limitation for the posts is different for different post. The minimal age of the candidate need to be 18 years. The Upper age of the general candidate should not be more than 35 years. Age relaxation will be done for reserved quota. Upper age limit will be relaxed by 05 years for SC, ST & BCs Category, 05 years for Employees of State Govt and for 10 years for physically handicapped. Applicant must have completed 12th/ HSC/ Graduation Degree or its equivalent from a recognized Board, University or Institutes. Candidates having “C” Certificate with 03 (three) years course of NCC are also eligible for above vacancies.

Gujarat 616 GSRTC Bharti Eligibility Criteria
GSRTC Selection Process will be done in two stages First is Written Exam & Second is Driving Test. The qualifying candidates in the Written Exam will be called for Driving Test to be held as the final round of selection. Candidates must produce all certificates and driving license at the time of verification.
